My dad was a C-46 Flight Clerk based in Cairo during the war. I'm looking for some photos of C-46's that he may have flown in. I have a photo of one with the tail number 296803. On the back of the photo is a stamp from the Curtis Wright Corporation (Public Internal Relation Department), Negative No. 4551, Date Processed: May 28, 1945. I assume this is just a stock photo from Curtis Wright Corp. Any help would be appreciated.
