"Cancel" option for reply?

Would it be possible for a cancel option for reply? Sometimes, while using my phone, I accidentally hit "reply" instead of scrolling.

Never hit it before so I had to. Kinda like the "Quote" button.

In the text area, press and hold until you get the "cut copy paste select-all" option and click "select-all" and click the little backspace/erase button on your keyboard.

That should clear the text area and your good to go.

That I worked out before. It was hitting reply when not wanting to reply at all.

I don't see how you would want that to work and I don't see a reason.
If you didn't type anything in the editor, the post reply button does not post anything. If there is text, then it will post and once posted, it is in the forum's database, cancelling would then mean removing from the database, which is not a good privilege to have for common users. You can then either edit the text if you posted it prematurely, or ask one of us to delete the post for you. In the meantime you could edit the text so people know that you didn't mean to post that text.

If replying to a specific post which is then quoted in the post box after doing this can be reversed with the undo icon on the top right of the text box.
