I just recalled this story the other day.
Christopher Reeve was a pilot, and not long after the first Superman movie came out in 1978 he was over in England for some reason.
He decided to try a new aviation sport that had become newly popular back then, hang gliding. Unfortunately he misjudged things and accidentally went over the fence into a British military installation.
The British military police rushed to apprehend the intruder. Then they saw who it was and said, "Oh, it's you! What can we do for you?"
Reeve was very embarrassed by the incident, as any pilot would be, and did not tell the story afterwards.
