Crash at Shuttleworth Yesterday

Looks like one of the Shuttleworth Collection's replica aircraft crashed during an airshow yesterday. Thankfully, the pilot wasn't badly hurt and is already at home with his family:

Glad it turned out so well for the pilot. The Avro, I'm guessing, not so much ( 50 ft up in a tree?! - geeesh) they'll be firing up the ol' glue pots and pulling out new linen tonight.

When I see the Avro Triplane, I immediately think of Terry Thomas in 'Those Magnificient Men In Their Flying Machines'.

But on a brighter note, they still have not crashed the only flyable DH9. It has been flying since May 2019.
