The international court at Hague, Netherlands, has sentenced Croatian generals Ante Gotovina and Mladen Markac to 24 and 18 years imprisonment, respectively.

BBC News - Croatians convicted of war crimes

The conviction is bitterly received in Croatia, esp. the part declaring the generals being a part of a "joint criminal enterprise" between the military commanders and late president Tudjman, applied during Operation Storm in 1995 in Croatian war of independence.

I was under command of general Gotovina during that operation.

Without any wish to get into arguments I'll say this much. I can understand the sentiments of people in Croatia as similar reactions happen here when some former Serbian officials are on trial in Hague. However, in a dirty civil war as the one that happened in Yugoslavia no side is completely innocent. If guilt of these men has been proven at court then they should answer for it.
