A friend who I helped restore his N2S-5 sent me these. He is part of the D-Day Doll crew flying from LA area now in Germany.

Nice pictures. D-Day Doll was also displayed at the Paris airshow in the static, with That's All Brother in the flying display.

The display centreline was so far away at Paris, the aircraft might as well have been flying over Normandy.

There was a bit of a crosswind going down the strip.

I'm gonna upload some pics from the air drop at Sannerville and also the Caen Carpiquet 'event'. The Daks didn't land in Berlin, at Shonhagen, outside of Berlin, while I was there, just the displays at Fassberg and Wiesbaden, which are a bit of a way from Berlin. Nevertheless, we did see some airlift vet aircraft.

Nice shots Grant - looking forward to seeing the pics of the para drop.

Despite the delays it was as I thought, a special event. It seemed like the whole of the west of France was there; lots of people. Lots of not so brilliant photos to claw through.
