Can anyone confirm if Otto Hermann was the recipient of the 2nd US Federal pilot's license ever granted? Newspapers.com provided the article below, but just checking 
Unlike the modern Turkish Olympics shooter, no-one seems to remember 2nd in this area ... William P. MacCracken, Jr., was the first, but I can't find anything else to confirm 2nd & later - the first ones would have been issued fairly rapidly after MacKraken's in 1927 I assume.
Would be interesting to see a list if anyone has one; Google is not helping me ... TIA
