Can we all agree in Pensacola, the Navy had some aircraft/prototypes they experimented before ww2, creating beautiful, magnificent, flying machines!

Am I right?

How did the Curtiss F-5L work? And what squadrons was it assigned to for service?

In Fact, the old runways are at the old Cape May Naval Air Station is still there and you can still visit the old site.

The Naval base closed in 1922.

You need to explain during the time before its closure before 1922.

An areal view of Cape May Naval Air Station, and you can see the Zeppelin hangar is gone from the destruction from a hurricane that happened in 1938.

Sources are from Abandoned and Little Known Airfields, New Jersey, Cape May Area.
