Thank you very much all! You are very kind. So, finally, it is almost done. I still need to do the insulators on the antenna wire and there are maybe a couple of minor things left. But it is basically ready.
I did the satin coat but it was so soft for the pencils. Thus, I added a thin matt coat over it and both pencils and pastels went more smoothly. Then, a final matt coat completed the look. I will finish everything probably tomorrow or Friday and photograph it in daylight for the final stage.
Thank you all for the support and compliments! The model is now done. I did the antenna wire insulators and some final touches. It was great fun to build this old model. I will be posting the final photos soon.
