That just makes it easier to see where to paint the 65
Much better than I can do freehand. I learned to do masking because my freehand canopies made the rest of the models look like cr@p.

Same here, but i kept looking at this and putting it down.
Knew if i didn't do something i wouldn't get it finished.

Still have the very front section to do.

I settled for this aircraft from 3/KG 76 for the interesting badge on the nose.

I originally wanted to depict one of the low level Kenley raiders but don't want to buy decals.

I'm just reading the book "the hardest day" it's enthralling!

Gents,

My only comment on this interesting build is that the spinner colour is incorrect as presented in the instruction sheet.

At this time (1940) KG 76 used coloured spinners and narrow fuselage band to identify the respective aircraft's Gruppe. Hence for "F1+BL", yellow is correct for the aircraft's individual letter (3. Staffel), and white correct for the Geschwader's I. Gruppe, but the spinner should also be white to reflect the I. Gruppe. Thus the spinner colour for machines of the II., III., and IV. Gruppen are red, yellow and blue respectively
