Curtiss P-40N-5-CU Warhawk 42-105288 Assigned to the 5th Air Force (5th AF), 8th Fighter Group (8th FG), 35th Fighter Squadron (35th FS). Nose letter "L" with a white painted tail and leading edge of the wing. During September 1943, assigned to pilot 1st Lt. Glenn "Gabby" Holder. Operated from Cape Gloucester Airfield. On February 6, 1944 this P-40 was photographed on the flight line.
