Handley Page Hampden Mk1 44 Squadron Royal Air Force 44 Sqn RAF X2996
Shot down by AA over Berlin. There is a short video of wreckage being recovered by the Germans on THE WORLD AT WAR : BOMBING GERMANY. This has also appeared in colour in the WORLD WAR 2 IN COLOUR TV series.

The footage mentioned appears at the end of this clip that was published in a contemporary German newsreel
 
I was puzzled at the engine remains shown at 37 seconds into the clip, if it was a Hampden then it should have had Pegasus engines, but that didn't look like any part of a Pegasus to my mind. Looks like the sump cover of an in line, Merlin perhaps? Footage from another clip spliced in?
 
Everything I can find seems to confirm X2996 as a Hampden so it looks as though the clip has a bit of material spliced in.
