A note though ... not Condor becauase it was the German unit supporting gen. Franco The unit was equipped with the German planes only and the members were Germans. The Fiat BR.20 belonged to the Aviazione Legionaria ( Spanish: Aviación Legionaria) - the Italian expeditionary corps from the Italian Royal Air Force that was the part of Italian Corpo Truppe Volontarie supporting the Spanish Nationalists. So the two different units although co-operated together. Later the planes used by the Italian expeditionary force were taken over by the Francoist army.
