11-11-1940 Monday raid over the UK code name Cinzano' - a bombing raid on Harwich by ten Fiat BR. 20s escorted by 40 Fiat CR.42s ( 95-13 )and G.50s and a diversionary attack on London by the five Canz Z. 1007 bombers in concert with the Luftwaffe.

Note: The youtube clip is racist towards the Italians. At this time in 1940 one can understand.

That picture really shows how unsophisticated the structure of the AP-1 was, all the profiles make it look like it was a much more modern construction than it actually was. Great picture. I always wondered why the Italians replaced it with the mediocre Breda 65. I see why now!

I thought the Italians only brought one Cant Z 1007 to "aid" the luftwaffe.

It was mostly BR, 20's and CR. 42's. I believe they only sent 5 to 10 Cant Z 1007's for Recon duties.
