LeO 451 s/n 275 from GB II/31
I have the following profile and story about this a/c:

LeO 451 No. 275 "37" of GB II/31 of It. Pré.
Early in the morning of 13 June (1940), this a/c was to attack German convoys in the Mourmelon sector. Hit by flak, was forced to drop its bombs before the target was reached. Managed to return to the base at Til-Châtel where the plane was abandoned in the early afternoon, at the departure of the unit.


Note the missing cover of the oval belly hatch in the first photo and above.

I read where some RAF Mustangs caught some of those in Luftwaffe markings in the South of France and shot them down. I wonder what the poor Luftwaffe pilots did to get assigned to those things.
