Smolensk, 1941, Bf 110 E, S9+EK, of 2. Staffel, Schnellkampfgeschwader 210. The 'A' on the engine cowling denotes the fitment of the earlier DB601A engine, as opposed to the DB601E that was normally fitted to the 'E' variant.

Bf 110 C-1.

Can't find an exact match for the fuselage code M8+LN in the loss/damage list that I have.

So, it is likely to be one of these two:
21st April 1940
II./ZG76 Messerschmitt Bf110C. Damaged on landing at Frankfurt-Rhein-Main due to undercarriage failure. Crew unhurt. Aircraft 15% damaged but repairable.
or
11th May 1940
II./ZG76 Messerschmitt Bf110C. Crash-landed near Wolfenbüttel fuel tank damaged in attack by Sgt Flanek of GC 6/2 between St-Trond and Namur 7.10 p.m. Crew unhurt. Aircraft 20% damaged but repairable.

After that, II./ZG 76 flew either C-2s or C-4s in the Battle of Britain.

Judging by the emblem seen at the nose partially the Bf 110 belonged to the I./ZG26 or the II./ZG2 from March 1942.
