If that's a sister to the B-17, then it's definitely the ugly sister. In general, I find most seaplanes aesthetically pleasing. That one fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Great picture! probably only the 2nd picture I have seen of this prototype after its capture!

Has that turret glazing melted or was it designed to look like that? If it's the latter, then it's the most convoluted glazing design I've ever seen...and that's even considering the mess that is the nose of the Blenheim MkIV.
