I just noticed it is unarmed, Postwar? Trainer? Looks like it has been is service for some time as weathered as the finish is. Great picture!

From 1940s WWII US Army Soldier T/5 Lee Kitchen of Bloomsburg, Pa. He was with the 572nd Antiaircraft Auto Weapons Battalion. There is a copy of "Diary of 572nd AAA HDQ moves.". (Battle of Bulge begins Dec 16th 1944 to Jan 18th 1945).

Well.. one cannot trust both. Perhaps researcher mistyped a number, or the Photographer mislabelled
I always go to Baugher or American air museum the see if the have something on the serial number, if not as is the case with this 1, "the Net" and hope some site will have data.
