F-35 CRASH: PILOT EJECTS SAFELY

The satirical Duffelbag website often posts such outlandish "news" that much of it seems credible. In this instance I think the headline was "Marines celebrate first F-35 crash in South Carolina." BTW: The marines are still slurping their own Kool-Aid, saying that an LPD/whatever with six F-35Bs will relieve the need for a CVN in the Persian Gulf AO. IF anybody wonders why F-35 remains in low-rate production it's because OT&E still has not been completed--a requirement for full-scale production. And oh: we're entering the 22nd year of the JSF program.
