    Hey guys,

I picked up another Tamiya F4U the other day, and plan on starting it shortly and using my decals for Hammy Gray's aircraft. I know it is an FG-1D, and that it was BuNo.76236, but I don't know which canopy it had, the earlier barred canopy or the one without said bars. The only picture of the aircraft I've been able to find that is that aircraft for certain has the canopy covered by a tarp, so I'm wondering if anyone knows when Corsair production changed canopies.

    Thanks

I should not that this COULD be the aircraft, but there's no real way of knowing.

Sure looks like 115 to me. And a "barred" canopy.

I agree Paul, but the problem is we have no idea what the serial number is in that photo.
