Fueling a Curtiss P-40

Joined today. Found some answers to questions I have on fueling a Curtiss P-40.
(Thanks for sharing the information.)

Please confirm--

the only fuel filler for the P-40 is on the left, behind the cockpit.

(I have a 1/72 scale model of the P-40 and a fuel truck with a GI and fuel hose.
I would like to put the GI on the wing in the correct spot for refueling.)

Welcome to the forum. In the technical section you will find all the p-40 maintenance manuals, but here is a page from the Maintenance and Erection Manual, which locates the servicing locations for fuel,, oil etc
