According to the NACA references, the accepted wing profiles for the FW190 Ta152 is the NACA 23015.3 (root) and the NACA 23009 (tip).
I wonder if anyone can explain the '.3' suffix to the root profile - I understand this relates to the modified 5-digit designation, but the normal definition for the 5-digit variation comprises 2 digits and not just one and I cant find any explanation for this single digit.
I checked a standard 23015 profile against the Bremen drawings and there is obvious differences which may be influenced by this suffix.
All help would be garefully appreciated.
