    Hi ,
does anyone have info, or pictures, of the fw190 v19? The falcon wings are pretty freaky.
There seems to also be an interweb pic of an inline engine version that looks like a mix of a
bf109, fw190 and f4u, _ fanciful or was it real?

It looks like the designers at the time were hugely experimental in the quest for the next generation ultimate aircraft. This wing seems a litteral too literal to nature, but I applaud their thinking.
Looking at the luft 46 web site, there were some seriously odd ideas floating around at the time. I can just imagine how, in the post war years, the allied designers were sifting through all these bluprints, searching for ideas to persue.
It reminds me of the cambrian explosion, when nature was experimenting with an array of strange body shapes, only a few of which survived to evolve long term.
