Time for some paint action. Most of my paint supply is geared to Luftwaffe planes so I used what I had on hand. Seems a bit on the dark side but I'm hoping I can lighten it up with some weathering and flat clear. I used liquid latex as a mask. A lot easier than cutting out masks with tape !!
Decals applied. They were thin, a bit tricky to manoeuvre into place but settled down great with setting sauce. The numerous little decals were brutal on the old eyeball to place but I managed to get them all as well. Landing gear is assembled and installed. Just need some final touches, exhaust, canopy, weathering etc.
