Making some great progress on the Lightning . Got up early this morning and finished the assembling the last of the parts on the booms and the center section before heading to work this morning . Once i got home finished the sanding and start gluing booms on and various exterior parts . Cause of the paint scheme on the tail i'll try and leave the tail wing seperate for painting then add on at very end before gloss coat .

Today on the Lockheed channel busy last few days spraying various parts . Started getting the some parts painted with my Tamiya black mix. I wanted something different then just strait black . So i mixed a bottle of Tamiya XF-1 black and XF-50 field blue 50/50 gor the underside color . Top side of the wing i used Tamiya ocean grey. Landing gear was paited with Tamiya LP-11 silver . Other various parts wheels and cocpit painted with Tamiya acrylics . Few more things to paint then i can spray clear gloss for wash. I also decided to build the 148 Tamiya Airfield Fuel Truck to go with the build .
