Thank guys. Waiting for glue to dry and looking at the other photo I found of this aircraft, I noticed something. For every one who frets about getting those pesky propellers logos in perfect order, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless your photo shows other wise. An author and aircraft restorer on another site said they frequently fell off as well
Again while waiting for the glue to dry I looked around for other stuff to do. While the P-51 could carry up to five sets of zero length rocket stubs per side, this one only carried three. I've started removing the stubs from the rails
Thanks guys. And nary a ping Rob. Started spritzing today and again doing it in reverse, dark colours first. The reason being, the checker decals have to butt up perfectly with the red nose and Olive Drab anti-glare panel. Soooooooooo, I spray the red and OD first. I've made many, many copies of the red and white checker decals which I will cut out and tape them into their proper locations. I'll the lay masking tape over the darker colours so that they touch the paper copies. Then I'll spray the NMF and in theory, every thing lines up.....in theory. Anyhoo, white before red. I had to add a touch of black to the red to get it to match the decal red, I hope.
