HI, i need a little help identifying a tyre recently aquired,,
it's a goodyear, made in england, and has the british air ministry marking. the size is 6 ply, 12.50. then s.c. and 3 all in the same grouping,.
other marks;; a circle with a letter v inside,,6 ply rayon static conductor,,5025..and finally, a possible serial number..x8894e259.. the inside diameter is a little under 4 inches...and the outer diameter is 12 and three quarter inches and width is 3 and three quarter inches. it does have markings on the inside of the rim but i have not been able to tell what these are as yet.
i would appreciate it if any one could identify which aircraft this would have been used on,,,many thanks in anticipation..BRIAN
