Oh I totally understand...
I meant no disrespect... I mearly was shocked cause I had watched that
movie last night... just wanted to share what I remembered...
Wurger
After looking harder at the pics of the Royal Navy Hellcat.... can you
help with the color.. used on the bottom..... it resembles the bottom of a Spitfire
..... The US version was White... but after looking at the invasion stripes on that
FAA its not white.. and it does not look grey... the top of the hellcat looks
grey...gun ship grey.. I would be interested in changing the colors on my bird
to mimic the Royal Navy version... I have a company that will do the decals for
me as soon as I decide which version I want. so it appears that I would rather
have the invasion stripes over the eyes mouth and teeth version... it how ever
would be easier to do ..... but that means that others could do the very same thing
I want to make my plane a little more original
Dark Sea Grey, Extra Dark Sea Grey and Sky.
Here is the fuselage I am dealing with as far as the color that came on it.
So I dont have a problem changing the color... but I would like to do it
in a way were it would be the easiest....
so you say the bottom is light gun ship grey ?
if thats so isnt that the same as the spitfire?
looking at the middle color on my fuse would you consider that the color
on the bottom of the FAA f6f ?
Very colorful. If remember correctly these were based off the USS Princeton ,but the naval brass very quickly ordered the removal of the artwork. don't remember why...
