    Best I can do is:

"JP228 crashed Widony area, Hungary. Crew: Sparrow - Kwinter - Evans - Heath - Yates - Sparks (the latter PoW, Canadian, no initials, no svcnr)."

    From:

614 Squadron loss 22 Aug 44 Samuel KWINTER

My guess is that the place name has changed since the war.

    Have a look here:

    http://www.iabsi.com/gen/public/Documents/Slovakia_Hungary_Counties.jpg

Szony is actually to the west of "Ostrihom" on that map, which is now apparently called Esztergom.

You can see there's been a certain amount of, ah, "cultural adjustment" in that area from the site which provides the map:

    Place Names - Eastern Slovakia

So, there's likely been a Magyarisation, or a Slovakization, or a Modern-Magyaration, or a Retrospective-Slovakization, etc etc ad infinitum. "Where's my Shtetl?"
