I believe the P-38 was also built before, during and after...
I stand corrected.... January 1939 XP-38 flew. Still trying to find end of production date.
It would appear that any remaining P-38s still on order as of end of WWII were cancelled before the end of 45 so it would appear that the P-38 does make. Prototypes before the war and still being made at the end. I will reword my statement, the Spitfire was the only allied fighter in built and in operational service before, during and after the war.

If the criteria is first flights of prototypes count,
F4F/FM-1, XF4F-2 first flown 2 September 1937, reworked as XF4F-3 first flight 12 February 1939, officially accepted in July 1939, 232 FM-2 produced in August 1945.
P-38, XP-38 first flight 27 January 1939, officially accepted in October 1939, 53 P-38L produced in August 1945, last acceptance on 24th
Bristol Beaufighter first flight 17 July 1939, last production in Britain September 1945, in Australia January 1946.

Technically as the Beaufighter was ordered off the drawing board R2052 was both prototype and first production, but not officially counted as production until April 1940. Otherwise no pre war production of F4F, P-38 and Beaufighter, just the prototypes.

Supermarine Spitfire first flight 5 March 1946, first production July 1938, last production March 1948 (Seafire March 1949).
