Note that only the top 'walls' of the cockpit were black, the rest being cockpit grey green, or painted 'Aluminium', depending on area and component. Wheel wells were never natural metal and, depending on factory (Hawker or Gloster) would either be painted in the cockpit grey green or 'Aluminium, the latter normally being from the Hawker (Langley) factory.

Thanks Airframes, I was waitin' for Your explanation;). But where ends black colour on side 'walls'?
 
Black from the instrument panel to the rear frame behind the seat, above the upper, longitudinal cockpit tubular frame, up to the cockpit rim. The top of the seat armour plate (head armour) was also black, front and rear, and normally also the top decking beneath the canopy. The inner frame of the windscreen was also black in most cases.
