Now, should Bartels F-4 have round or squared off wheel wells? I've read that the F-4's could have either....🤨🤔

If this is correct:
WNr. 13169, Bf 109F-4 "Black 13"Fw. Heinrich Bartels, 8./JG 5, Petsamo, Finland
WNr. 13169 Bf 109F-4 "Black 4" Karl Schulz 8./JG5 Finland
Here is a photo of the second one:
Bf 109F-4 WNr. 13169 .jpg

Normally I'll go "full circle" with all F-4, unless a photo shows something different.
Cheers!

About square vs round F wheel wells, scroll down to the last post by Lynn Ritger. Looks like we may have to wait a bit to find out

Also it seems the starboard wing had the wheel bay of the early shape than the port one.

Yep ... but which one....?
I didn't see that, but you have a good eye, Woytek! Kudos!
Good that I posted that photo, to open another can of worms today!:lol::lol:
Prosit!
P.S. Just checked something else: the above WNr. is part of block:

13 001 - 13 391
Bf 109 F-4/Z
Wiener Neustädter Flugzeugwerke (WNF)
