well it's not like the Hortons were the first to try this they would've taken insparation/ideas from others for their work too, as is true of any product...........

Inside Germany, the idea of the flying wing may be traced back to Junkers early patent (this undoubtly was known by Horten, he wrote a chapter about Junkers work). But even earlier and- of course outside Germany, some planes used flying wing concepts, altough not thouroghly understood. The aerodynamic issues and it´s solutions were covered by Horten first.
