Problem with scale replicas, is that your head looks too bloody big....

There are other aircraft in that size/class i would rather spend money on, but fair play to the intrepid builders.

Very true!

I can't find a photograph on the internet, but there was even a homebuilt version of the Westland Whirlwind many years ago...

I was connected with WAR for a short time back in the 70s. Still have a dream to build a replica Typhoon.

FAA Registry - Aircraft - N-Number Results (lower part of the page.)

says the Whirlwind was destroyed.
