Identify Avro Lancaster part

Hi, does anyone recognize this part, it is heavy (like lead?) and at the flat side it looks like brazed carbide teeth?

Hmm. It could possibly be a mass balance, from aileron or rudder, but even allowing for it being damaged / deformed, does not necessarily mean it's from a Lanc.
If lead, it could also be some form of battery terminal connector, although the shape would possibly suggest otherwise.
Some dimensions may allow other members to offer some suggestions.
