Information needed on a starter motor???

    This starter was found in my Uncles garage....I was told by him it was off of a round engine.....there are some numbers on it...EA-94304 or its EA-94804......then someone told me it was off of a WWII aircraft.....I would really be interested in some information if you have some....I have no clue other than he did fire it up somehow and said it works.....Thanks in advacnce

    I take it is has no placard. Are there any stamps or symbols on it?

    Thanks for your interest....No there are no other markings on that we can find...We found just that one EA number by luck....we have looked pretty thorough on it.....
