I found this site many years ago and found it was very interesting and opened my eyes to the Eastern front. Explore the site and you will find lots, and great photos, about the USSR/Finland fighting. And example of what I learned was that at one battlefield called the Nevskij bridge head, from 1941-43, 260,000 men died on a spot of land that was 2000 by 800 meters, or, .6 square mile. That's a lot of dead in a little space.
