On August 8 1969, the Beatles emerged from Abbey Road recording studios for a short photo shoot outside the building, with Scottish photographer Iain MacMillain in tow, who shot six images of the four crossing the now famous zebra stripes outside the studio. McMillain chose photo number 5 as the iconic album cover. Abbey Road was the Beatles' last studio album before they broke up not long afterwards.

These photos were taken in July 2018 and show the crossing visited by thousands of tourists each year, with the studio's white fence in the background, and the famed Abbey Road studio entrance.
