Lancaster wheel manufactured in the US?

This wheel was found near in the Épernay area, France. It has been subject to much discussion, including within the Shuttleworth Collection. One comment:

"I have measured the spitfire tail wheel and it is 10 cm smaller. It is possible that it is a Lanc wheel sourced from USA. Some Lancs were built in Canada. Suggest an enquiry is made to the RAF Museum or Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. Both have Lancs. Otherwise, it could be from a B17"

IMHO the images aren not enough to state what the kind of the tail wheell it is. The numbers and inscriptions can't be read clearly. How it looks like in the general view and at the both sides?

B-17F tailwheel tire rolling radius was 10.125" (approximate outer tire diameter of 25"-26" when not under load) with a clearance of 5.125" between the hub and the ground (leaving a hub diameter of 10"). The tire air pressure is supposed to be about of 55 lbs at the specified rolling diameter. The wheel hub assembly was made by Hayes (type G-3-168, part #55-7470) at the time of the manual publication (Dec'42).

B-17G (as of Aug'44) used a Hayes wheel hub (type G-3-217A, part # ?) and tire, both of the same dimensions as for the B-17F, though the tire was capable of higher pressures.
