I was perusing some maps of Libya and came across this AFB, out in the middle of the desert.
1) Notice the revetments that the desert has started to reclaim. This must have been an important base at one time.
2) Are those Mig 25's? Libya has some but reportedly are not operational.
3) Looks like an IL-76 has been abandoned to the desert.
