At a model show in October I picked up a kit of the Lindberg Grumman Goose. In doing preliminary research, I saw that major work was required to correct the tail profile, not to mention the landing gear!

Nicely done. It's a kit using the basic mold of the ancient Hubley soft plastic toy as a start point that have been "refined" over the years. The first company to do it was ITC, others followed.
