Well it troubled me too

The problem was that sometimes you needed three hands, one for the stick, one for the throttle, and the third to hold the pick-ups against your throat.

Seems like it can cause a flurry of activity. Only experienced pilot could handle it elegantly, in my opinion

It was said that Yorktown had a nickname called "Waltzing Matilda", why did the sailor call her this name? Curious about it.

The affectionate nickname "Waltzing Matilda" was given to Yorktown by her crew because she was all over the Pacific Ocean in the early days of the war.

Guys I think that USS Yorktown(CV-5) had saved me and my parents' lives.
Today when I was on the way to my grandparents' home and a Ford Explorer stuck my car at the right front.
That beast weighed 2051kg and my car weighed 1980kg, Ford was nearly 50km/h while I was at 30km/h.
My car just broke some outer panels but the right light and the right radar was not damaged.
At that direction I put Yorktown's insignia for decoration.

I'm also fond of U.S.S. Yorktown NCC 1717. No bloody A, B, C or D.

Could be. Hamiltonbook has two books on the USS Yorktown. One says CV-5 and the other one CV-10.
