Anyone have any info on the structural details of the I-220 series, namely the I-225?
Also, given that it has a range of over 800 miles on internal fuel, how might the I-225 have done as an escort fighter? For comparison, the P-51D/K did 950 miles on internal fuel, the Hawker Tempest V did 750 miles, Tempest II 800 miles, and the Tempest I 770 miles.
