Thanks for that info Evan - I'll remember to handle with extreme care!
Vic, the WEM paints are on my list to try also, I've heard very good reports about them. I'm still trying to get my LHS to stock an alternative enamel, and WEM are one of them, although the range is rather limited (for other users) outside of camouflage paints.
I've received the first lot of the Xtracolor paints this morning, and, having used these many times in the past, I don't expect any problems. They are, of course, all gloss (to assist with decals), apart from some 'specialist' colours such as interior shades etc. This can be a slight inconvenience in a few instances, but the finish is superb, and the colours are not only consistent, but accurate too.
The Model Master paints should be here later this week, although it'll be a week or two before i get around to trying them, so I should have enough to keep me going for now.

I can confirm the White Ensign are good paints Terry and yes I agree they are colour limited for many a modeller and that is when I revert to MM of old Humbrol. The Junkers was all WE paint used in quantity for the first time and though I've had the pots some 12 months, there was no sediment (pigment) settle in the pots like I get with Humbrol and with a quick shake they were ready for use.

Yes, our old friend Keith, in Ireland (who has poor internet connection where he now lives) swears by WEM paints. I think that, when I really need matt colours, they might be a good source, although again, I'd have to order 'on line'. But at least this can be done direct from WEM.
