I think we all know how this is working now. On the left is a brush retired four years ago and now used for cleaning model stuff, one the right, purchased yesterday. Same brand

I prefer the smaller ones. Easier and better to brush with. Having said that I use an Oral-B electric tooth brush that is even smaller, which I think is even better.
