They were old school, with crank handles.
Only thing missing was wind-wings and an AM radio in the dash with a chrome bezel and knobs!

I don't think that was a factory option on the '64 Impala…but from what I've seen in the news I believe the twin 30s were…

It did and came in 3rd in 1947. It was very competitive in the post war years.

Like the propeller from a P-63 starting at the front end of the plane, The race plane wound up within a few pounds of of service P-39 even with all kinds of stuff stripped out (including the window winder handles).
