Back in the early 1970's, I wrote to the Tamiya Company about the possibility of producing a particular subject. I received a reply from Mr. Tamiya himself !!

I am sorry to hear this.... his company has been a great asset to all of us building plastic models. I just had a good experience with the USA representative. I had a bad blemish on my clear canopy on a AD-4 Skyraider. I sent them an e-mail and documented the problem.... a day later I got an e-mail back and the part is coming this week or next week. I was worried because of the big corporations not really caring for their public opinions. Not the case here. Thank You Tamiya.
