Myles Goodwyn, former April Wine singer, dead at 75 | CBC News

Nova Scotia musician Myles Goodwyn, who stepped down earlier this year as the singer of April Wine, died Sunday. The 75-year-old's death was confirmed by his publicist, Eric Alper. The cause of death is unclear.

Chad Allan, a Winnipeg-born, multi-talented musician who shared a stage with some of Canada's rock greats and hosted CBC's Let's Go music program, has died at the age of 80.

Just a note for the montage from 1 Jan (since this is my first visit to this thread I didn't see it before) - You note that Denny Laine was in Paul McCartney & Wings - I knew of him as a founding member of The Moody Blues.

Yes, Denny had a legendary carreer that would make most musicians jealous. A rare feat to be a member of multiple successful bands over the years.
He will be missed.

Yep... including the Electric String Band, Balls,.. and a tour of duty with Ginger Baker's Air Force.
