Found these parts on an island which was used as an American bombing range during WW2. The parts appear twisted and broken and one piece looks like molten aluminum. According to my research at least 4 planes crashed on this island in 1943 during practice. I know they were flying the P41 Warhawk and the P51 Mustang but there could have been others. Could these parts be from one of the wrecks or just junk?

That's a shame because it will be extremely difficult i.e. impossible to determin wether the parts are a/c and if so from which type. At least as far as my knowledge goes....sorry.
