Well, I doubt if the average Vista user has got a 4 TB drive in their computer. But you are right, hd space is cheap nowadays. On the other hand, the size of the OS is a likely reason for the performance problems of Vista. An SSD would counter that, but then again, would you buy expensive drives just to counter a major flaw in an OS?

That would be pretty silly, especially considering the size needed for the SSD if its an old Vista installation...
